ho utilizzato più volte i voli Ryanair. in realtà non sono proprio economici come dicono, tenendo presente che nel prezzo base c'è solo una borsa. per chi va in vacanza più giorni aggiungere un bagaglio costa parecchio. poi per avere un bicchiere d'acqua devi pagare. in ogni caso resta una compagnia aerea di buona qualità e se avrò bisogno la sceglierò.

Me and my girlfriend arrived at the Copenhagen airport on time for our flight (FR406) to Rome.
We had been given conflicting directions by a couple airport staff as to where we could recieve our boarding passes which wasted 10 minutes walking around.
Even with this delay, we arrived on time at the RyanAir service desk #122 to start the check-in process.

This is where I had the WORST customer experience of my life.
I have flown extensively for 25 years to over 30 countries, on countless airlines and have never been exposed to such an awful representative.
We arrived before the cut-off time for our check in.
This was verbally confirmed by your representative (a young girl).
She specifically told us when we arrived that she had one minute to check us in.....okay, phewf sigh of relief. Nope!

Instead of starting the process she complained to us that she wasn't fast enough to complete the task.
She just looked us in the eye and told us we missed our flight.
Again, we arrived ON TIME!!

As the precious minute counted away while she coldly began explaining the absorbent cost of another flight the next day.
We were in disbelief.
I asked her if she could do anything more.

She then had the audacity to ask us if we wanted further help by calling someone?
"If we wanted futher help"! "IF"?! again unbelievable.

She did this all while smiling, as if our entire trip itineray wasn't hanging in the balance of her typing skills.

After she spoke to someone on the phone she told us that she couldn't help us.
I repeat, we arrived on time!!

The amount of time we spent pleaded for basic consideration, must less customer service, we could have been checked in.

We only had carry on bags and there was no line up at security.

We now sit in the airport booking a flight on any airline other than RyanAir to complete our journey.
While we could have easily made our RyanAir flight that doesn't leave for another 38 minutes.

Completely unbelievable!
In all my years I have never written a complaint letter.
I don't even remember the last negative review I've given a business, but this RyanAir representative was the absolute worst customer service experience to date in my life.
For someone that travels as much as I do that is saying something.

I honestly don't even know how to make sense of the situation.

The one silver lining was that we went back to the kiosk and spoke with a different girl.
She was sweet and understanding and was also surprised at our situation. So at least we know some RyanAir employees care.
It feels as though we got terribly unlucky with that one girl.
If we had dealt with the second girl in the first place, we would be happily on the next leg of our journey.

Your customer service shouldn't be like rolling the dice.

Ryanair is the epitome of a budget airline in the worst possible way. Sure, the upfront ticket prices are cheap, but they’ll nickel-and-dime you at every turn. Being slapped with a $100 charge for not checking in online? That’s not just ridiculous—that’s a complete rip-off.

They lure you in with low prices, but it’s not worth paying less if they’re going to claw the money back with absurd fees like this. It’s almost like a game for them—how can they catch you out with some fine print or arbitrary deadline? By the time you add up the “optional” charges, seat selection, baggage, boarding passes, and sneaky penalties, you could’ve paid for a more comfortable, hassle-free flight on a proper airline.

Flying with Ryanair feels less like saving money and more like trying to avoid being robbed at every turn. If you’re not careful, that cheap ticket turns into an expensive, stressful mess. Honestly, it’s not worth the headache.

Paid for priority boarding but was denied when they issued a written paper boarding pass to me. When asked for refund, they refused and gave the reason that I have partially used the service which was for bringing 10kg luggage on board. Illogical and out to keep customers money. Am still waiting for my refund. Beware before u book with them.

There is always endless waiting, the staff are always so disorganised that customers are made to stand and wait for several minutes at each session, and unnecessary time wasted in between can be reduced if the staff are well prepared in advance. But Ryanair seems to highlight the uniqueness of airline services by the time customers wait!

Choose one star as I can’t select zero. All the flights are always delayed at least one hour. Today, the cherry on top… kids had priority boarding passes and the guy at the boarding gate before going to the plane, said he cannot scan the non priority boarding passes, ours, the parents, and he asked us to stay aside together with another family from Portugal, same issue, kids had priority but not the parents.. After I complained that it’s the first time this happens, and that’s completely not normal after all the wait… magically the machine could scan the non boarding passes as well and he let us pass though. Shame on you! After delaying our flight to Palma de Majorca with 2 hours… you also have a complete lack of compassion for families either children. Again ZERO stars for you!!!

Absolutely shocking treatment of a British Born passenger, at a time when I am sick , and can't afford to pay for things that are not my fault! There absolute mistreatment of me , and their lack of wanting to help, is disgusting and dispicible! I booked a cheap flight, from Gdansk back to UK , after collecting all of my antibiotics I am currently on to fight a severe illness, & on my way to airport 2 and half hours before check in, I tried to check in online, and when I was scrolling through all the non EU countries stated, as the only other one was EU countries, to select my nationality, there was most definitely not anything saying British, Great British, English, or United Kingdom. So I didn't bother lying on the site and just selecting anything, like refugee or other status which was an actual option! Instead I didn't panic and I got to the airport to check in , and calmly to the staff at Gdansk what the problem was , by this time it was within two hours of my flight so I had no way of showing them directly through my phone what the issue was , but I promise you and swear of my mother's life that on my android, on the ryanair site linked to my email on the check in portal, I swear to God that it didn't have the option to select my nationality. Now , they said I could get on the plane unless I paid a 252PLN check in fee ! And had to be done through a card no other way ! So right before my flight I waited days extra for as I have no money and waited for the cheapest flight, they charged me just under what I paid for my whole flight and baggage, just to check in ! They said that they'll give me a receipt and I can send it to Ryanair after the flight and the customer services will reimburse me . Well now, they won't even let me call them , they are refusing to listen to me , and refusing to pay me the 252PLN back . They are shockingly wicked the way they are treating me and my case , and I really will never even book with them ever again as I can't believe what they have done it has infuriated me I may have to sleep on th streets tonight as that was my last 50 quid until I can get some money together as I spent it all on treatment and medication, and I'm homeless! So thanks so much Ryan air for robbing me of my last money and treating me like a am something on the bottom of your shoes I sincerely hope you learn your lesson not to scam people out of paying their flight price twice just before take off, all because their site didn't allow illegally for me to select my nationality which Is British!

The first and last time flying Ryanair. Actually the only airline available from Venice to Naples today - sadly. Horrible gate service, actually no service and the plane, well best not say anything if you cannot say anything positive.
