Had wedding hair and makeup done by BB for myself, two moms, and my bridesmaids. Brooke and her team treated us so well through the trial and traveling out to the venue for the day of! They really matched what we had in mind and the style we each normally go for. Highly recommend!!

I went for a lash lift and tint and was told not to get them wet for two days. It was really hard because my eyes were super sticky. They looked okay immediately after the appointment but the next day they were just awful. My lashes are destroyed and I tried waiting to see if they would lose the curl but they didn’t and they feel very damaged. I can’t even wear mascara because a big chunk of my eyelashes in the middle are too messed up.

My wife had an appointment today that she paid $20 to hold which was fine. She was running a few minute late for it and called ahead to let them know that, they informed her that the scheduled gal could not accommodate her but can get another lady to take her. No problem. When it came time to pay ($40 for the appointment) she was told that it would be another $20 for the missed 1st appointment and a full $40 for the second. So in the end she paid $80 for 1 $40 appointment. This is not a way to gain loyal customers. My wife was prepared to have Botox and several other services that BB provides but unfortunately this will not happen now. Things happen in life and sometimes people are a little late, I get that but come on people have some compassion. All I see is greed so please beware of this business. Don’t be late.

I have been getting my lashes done by Jaz for months now, and I am so glad I landed here! I went through several different companies to find someone who listens to my thoughts on how I want my lashes, is punctual, caring, and is an expert in application. Jaz has gone above and beyond to provide me with lashes that are long-lasting with seamless application. I recommend BB to anyone who is looking for lash extensions OR is looking for a change in their lash artist 🙂

I was in town for a wedding over Memorial Day Weekend and booked an appointment for makeup and hair at BB. Please note, I did call and speak with someone at BB who said they would pass my feedback along to Brooke and then get back to me. I haven't heard a word since.

While I did like my makeup, the woman doing it never asked for what my preference was or any sort of style I preferred. I sat down and she immediately started doing my makeup saying she was a bit rushed for time. I had showered that morning and my hair in the back of my head was still a bit damp, particularly around my neck. She proceeded to tell me that BB doesn't have a single blowdryer in the entire building because they only do dry styles. I thought that seemed odd since that's one of the most basic tools to have on hand to do hair. Also, when I had initially called, Brooke had asked what style I wanted my hair done in and I said a low pony or bun and she didn't mention anything about my hair being completely dry OR I would've absolutely shown up to my appointment like that. Anyways, the stylist acted totally irritated that she then had to call and ask specific permission to use the one blowdryer they had on hand in the entire building, BUT the kicker was she would need to charge me an extra $50 for a blowout on top of the charge to style my hair. She didn't give me a blowout, she used the blowdryer for maybe 4-5 min but she knew she could get away with charging me an EXTRA $50!!! because I was on my way to a wedding. Mind you, I live in Scottsdale and have gotten blowouts from the top salons here and her running her fingers through my hair for 4 minutes and charging $50 doesn't qualify as anything remotely close to a "blowout." Then she started putting ringlet curls in my hair. I asked twice if her plan was to then pull it back into a low pony or bun since that was the style I was looking for with my dress and she told me "no" and that she wanted to highlight my curls.

I'm disappointed that I was charged an extra $50 and that I did the right thing and tried to call the salon before leaving a review but never heard a word back.

Brook is a professional. I could pay and go anywhere in the Twin Cities- I travel to Hudson Wisconsin for her. I’ve had brow blading three times and she is the tops in her field. From Minnetonka to Edina to Dellwood - make the drive. She’s incredible. Plus her salon is worth seeing!!

(Not my real name as this is my back up email that I use) I went to get my lashes done and they were beautiful, no doubt but the application is terrible. I had an eyelash fall off and 3 of my natural lashes were attached to the false one… I’ve never had 3 lashes on one false lash before. Now I understand why it took 30 minutes to do my lashes. Also, some are attached to my skin, which I can feel pulling. I won’t be going back, not worth the drive for me for the application process. I will continue my search for a lash technician that I am comfortable with. I’m just hoping I have enough natural lashes left to get my lashes redone before an event I have coming up. ? On a positive note, the salon is gorgeous. 🙂 EDIT: this is almost 3 weeks out!

I had a lash lift and tint done. The girl who did it was very kind but the lift and tint was a hot mess. I have had many lifts and tints in the past before I moved to the area and never had issues like I had. I left with glue on my lashes and lids, straight lashes, but they were tinted. I waited the full 48 hours to get them wet which was difficult with the sticky glue still on my lashes and lids and there is no difference from when I went in. I’ve had this service done before else, but wouldn’t recommend BB.

I’ve attached a picture of what my lashes looked like immediately after leaving the appointment. The dark line on my lash line is from tint mixed up with the glue that left a stain.
