10/10 recommend Emily as your hair & makeup artist! She was so great to work with from the start, super helpful with planning out the timeline details, and her work is amazing! I did a bridal H&MU trial with Emily about a month or so before my wedding where we tried a couple different hairstyles (ponytail & low bun), which both looked great but I decided afterward that I wanted to do something a bit different (1/2 up). Even though we hadn't trialed my final style, Emily was able to capture exactly what I was envisioning on the day and I was (and still am) SO happy with how it turned out!! It really felt like me and suited the style of my wedding perfectly. For makeup I wanted subtle/natural glam. Emily absolutely nailed it! My makeup didn't look or feel heavy at all, but lasted all day and night long (even after getting a bit sweaty on the dancefloor!)
Emily also did hair and makeup for 3 of my family members, and I was so amazed with how perfectly she matched each person's individual style and tastes so well - both for hair and makeup! She was also so efficient, I think everyone was ready early, which is not easy to do!
Emily was so friendly and we all really enjoyed having her with us for the morning 🙂

Emily was so amazing to work with as a hair & makeup artist for my wedding in December! She was extremely communicative throughout the entire process leading up to the wedding day, and was really helpful in setting up the timeline for the day. I did a H&MU trial about 6 weeks before the wedding, and meeting her in person there I knew I was in good hands. During the trial, I brought extensions I was going to use for the day, and we walked through vision and any changes. The day of the wedding, Emily was awesome. Besides myself, she also did the hair and makeup for our sisters and moms, all with very different styles and requests for their wedding day looks. She was able to bring all of their visions to life and everyone felt and looked amazing. In addition, we had some family members running behind and had to rearrange the order, and Emily was calm and flexible, which was helpful on a stressful day. I absolutely loved my bridal hair and makeup as well, and everyone kept commenting on both throughout the night. No one realized I was wearing extensions in my ponytail because Emily was able to blend it in so seamlessly. My makeup did not sweat off through the course of the night, however, it also didn't feel so heavy that I didn't look and feel like myself. I definitely recommend Emily for all your hair and makeup needs!

I hired Emily for hair and makeup for my June wedding and I am so glad I did! She was super responsive from the start of the process, and was an absolute pleasure to work with. I did a trial about 2 months before my wedding and Emily was incredibly patient with me as we tried out different hair and makeup styles. I knew I wanted a more natural, yet elevated look for my beach wedding, and she was able to deliver a look that met my needs while also photographing beautifully. Exactly what I had hoped for! She is very calm and patient which I appreciated on the day of my wedding. She made me, my mom, and sister feel so beautiful! Thanks again Emily!!

Emily was absolutely fantastic! During my hair and makeup trial, she listened intently to my ideas and concerns, and helped me narrow down my vision for the day. I was pretty overwhelmed that day and she made me feel so at ease. On the day of the wedding, her calm demeanor kept us all relaxed and present. We looked and felt gorgeous: elevated but still very much ourselves. Our hair and makeup lasted the entire day, through a very humid outdoor reception! I got so many compliments throughout the day, especially on my hair. I would recommend Emily to any bride looking for someone who will make them look and feel exquisite on their wedding day, but still true to who they are!
